Skedet LLC Privacy Policy


Skedet LLC ("Skedet") is concerned about its Users and protection of their private information.  Accordingly, Skedet has created this Privacy Policy (the "Policy").  Skedet strongly encourages each of its Users to take the time and become familiar with this Policy, as it applies to the services offered by Skedet (the "Services").

It is important that each User understand that this Policy applies only to the Services, and not to any other third party websites which may be accessed by a User through use of the Services.  Skedet is neither affiliated with such sites and third parties nor does Skedet have any influence or control over them.  As aforementioned, such websites have their own privacy policies and rules regarding the use of personal information (including without limitation, use of cookies, data and other personal information).

In the event that Skedet desires to use a User's personal information in a manner beyond those set forth in this Policy, Skedet will provide you with notice and the opportunity to "opt-out" of such purposes by sending an email to support@skedet.com. 

Modifications to the Policy

Skedet reserves the right to change the Policy at any time and from time to time; provided, however, that Skedet will not provide less rights to you under any future version than appears here.  The most recent version of the Policy can be found by accessing this link:  Skedet Privacy Policy.  Skedet encourages all Users to bookmark this page and check it occasionally for updates.  The current version of the Policy can always be found at the end of the document.  Skedet will endeavor to maintain all prior versions of the Policy.

Personal information

When a User creates a Skedet account, the User will be required to provide certain personal information (including, without limitation, your full name, email address, account name, account password and credit card or other payment information).  This information is stored by a [third party] in encrypted form on secure servers.   Skedet may take this information and integrate it with other information submitted by the User, other information in the possession of Skedet or other information from third parties in order to provide the richest User experience while using the Services.  While Skedet takes appropriate measures to provide accuracy in the handling of personal information, Skedet relies entirely on its Users to maintain correct personal information and to update this information as appropriate.

Personal information is utilized by Skedet only as set forth in this Policy and in order to provide Services to Users, including, without limitation, delivering directed advertising, enhanced Services, and demonstrate functionality of the Services.

Skedet is concerned about a User's personal information.  Therefore, Skedet will only share a User's personal information under limited scenarios.  Those scenarios include: (i) in accordance with this Policy; (ii) Skedet obtains a User's consent; (iii) Skedet shares this information with its third party providers such as Google; (iv) Skedet is required by law or public policy to share this information; or (v) Skedet seeks to enforce its Terms of Service.

Skedet may, from time to time, share with a third party a pool of information that contains non-personal information.  An example of this is a total number of Users (but not which Users) accessed an advertisement or a third party website.

Skedet takes security seriously.  As such, Skedet engages appropriate safeguards to protect Users from unauthorized access to User accounts and data (including, without limitation, disclosure of User data). 

Skedet provides each User with not only access to a User's personal information but also the means to update and/or delete this information (in accordance with law and Skedet's Terms of Service).  In the event that Skedet is unable to or cannot provide a User with the ability to update and/or delete a User's personal information, Skedet will notify a User via email.

Cookies, Server Logs, Retention, and Third Party Links

Upon a User accessing the Services, at least one cookie (a small data file) will be sent by Skedet or a third party to a User's computer.  This cookie allows Skedet or the third party to identify the User's computer and internet browsing software in a unique way  These cookies allow Skedet and the third parties it uses to provide a more personalized experience for the User, since these cookies allow Skedet and third parties to track and store preferences, trends and areas of interest.  Skedet and the third parties Skedet engages will also use these cookies to identify specific advertising which, based upon a User's preferences, trends and areas of interest, would most likely be of interest to the User.  Generally, the default for most internet browsers is to accept cookies.  A User, however, may choose to change these settings to notify the User when a cookie is being sent or, alternatively, to refuse transmission/receipt of all cookies.  It should be noted, however, that if a User refuses transmission/receipt of all cookies, a User's experience using the Services may be significantly affected in a negative way and, perhaps, prohibit entirely the use of the Services.  In short, if a User prohibits the transmission of its personal information, Skedet may not be able to provide its Services to that User.

More specifically, at the current time, Skedet uses Google as a third party vendor with respect to advertising and ads appearing in connection with the Services.  Google, as  a third party, uses these cookies (including but not limited to a User's name, address, email address, or telephone number, a User's visits to Skedet's and other websites) to serve ads on Skedet's website about goods and services of interest to the User based upon this information.  Google uses a particular cookies called a "DART cookie".  This DART cookie enables Google to serve ads to Skedet's Users based upon a User's visit to Skedet's websites and other websites on the Internet.  To learn more about the DART cookie, including how to opt out of the use of the DART cookie, please visit the  Google ad and content network privacy policy.  Moreover, if a User would like more information about this practice and to know a User's choices about not having this information used by these companies, they can contact support@skedet.com.

When a User accesses Skedet's website, the servers automatically record information provided by the User's browser.  Generally, this information is automatically provided by a User whenever a User accesses any website.  This information, recorded in a server log, may a User's particular information (including, without limitation, IP address, browser software, language, date/time of access and other information and/or cookies that will uniquely identify a User's computer and the internet browser it is using).  In an effort to protect its Users, Skedet may also collect information about how a User uses the Services.  This is designed to protect a User from unauthorized account activity, such as fraud or "phishing".  Additionally, whenever a User sends an email to Skedet, Skedet will retain that email so that Skedet can investigate and respond to your concerns.

Skedet does provide links to other websites in connection with providing the Services.  Although a User may be accessing these websites as a result of using the Services, these other websites are not affiliated with Skedet.  While Skedet may receive personal information from these websites in order to provide the Services (and will do so in accorance with this Policy), each third party may have their own privacy policy which may or may not be similar to Skedet's Policy.  Skedet strongly encourages each User to access such third party's privacy policy. 

Certain website links that are made available by Skedet in connection with providing the Services may be published in a manner that permits Skedet to determine whether or not these website links have been utilized.  This information will be used by Skedet in accordance with this Policy and in a manner in order to better serve the User with targeted advertising and enhanced Services.

Location of Servers

Currently, Skedet maintains a User's personal information on servers within the United States of America.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, from time to time, Skedet will analyze personal information for the benefit and in accordance with the direction of a third party (including third party ad suppliers).

Compliance

Skedet will perform random self-audits in order to review its compliance with the Policy.  Should you have any questions regarding the Policy and Skedet's use and/or treatment of a User's personal information contact Skedet at support@skedet.com.

Upon receipt of an inquiry or complaint, Skedet will contact the User regarding the inquiry or complaint and take appropriate measures to address the User's concerns.
