What is the difference between a ‘Lite’ and ‘Pro’ account on Skedet?The ‘Lite’ account is free and has the following capabilities: · Create 4 Public Schedules · Subscribe to 2 Public Schedules · iPhone Client Access · Share Unlimited Schedules The ‘Pro’ account costs $9.99 a year and provides the following expanded capabilities: · Create Unlimited Public Schedules · Create Unlimited Private Schedules · Subscribe to Unlimited Public Schedules · iPhone Client Access · Share Unlimited Schedules · Export Schedules How do I update an account from ‘Lite’ to ‘Pro’?When logging on to the web client, www.skedet.com, an option is provided to ‘Lite’ accounts to update to ‘Pro’ accounts. Simple select the option to Upgrade to a Pro Account and you will be able to enter the information required for the upgrade Is there a limit to the number of schedules a ‘Pro’ account can create?No, Pro accounts can create unlimited public and private schedules. How do I add a new schedule?Schedules are added via the web client, www.skedet.com. There is no capability in the current version of Skedet to add a schedule via the iPhone client. Consideration will be given to add this capability in future releases of Skedet. What options are available for entering a new schedule?Schedules can be created by manually entering the information or importing the data from an Excel spreadsheet. Excel templates are provided for each schedule category. How do I remove a schedule from My Schedules?A schedule may be removed from My Schedules by selecting the ‘Remove Schedule’ option when viewing My Schedules on the web client(www.skedet.com). A scheduled removed may be re-added by viewing the schedules by category option and selecting the schedule desired. To remove a schedule using the iPhone client, select the Edit function, under My Schedules, and then click the icon next to the schedule to be removed. Can an account be assigned to a specific time zone so that all schedules will reflect local time?Yes, one of the options available in the profile settings is to identify the time zone for the account. Once specified, all the schedules will then reflect the local time for that time zone. The profile settings are modified via the web client, www.skedet.com only. How do I change the password for my account?An account’s password may be changed by the user by selecting the Change Password option on the web client (www.skedet.com). A user may change the password as many times as desired. There are no restrictions regarding the length or characters used for a password. Can the information entered for a schedule be customized?The information available for a schedule is defined based on the category assigned to the schedule. There is no flexibility to modify the information stored for a specific category. What is the difference between ‘Public’ and ‘Private’ schedules?A public schedule is available to all users. A private schedule is only available to the user who created the schedule. A private schedule may be shared with another Skedet user by the creator of the schedule. Can a schedule be shared with other users?Both public and private schedules are available to be shared. Can a schedule be edited after it is created?Schedules can only be edited by the user who submitted the schedule. The current information in the schedule can be updated and additional entries can be made to the schedule. Can a schedule be exported to my personal calendar such as Outlook?Yes, a schedule can be exported to a calendar such as Outlook. An export option is provided on the web client, www.skedet.com, when a schedule is viewed. Detail entries will be created in the calendar from the exported information. Can a schedule be exported to a PDF?Yes, the option is available when a schedule is viewed. This option is only available to ‘Pro’ accounts. Can customized icons be added to a schedule?Yes, the options to upload a customized icon when creating or editing a schedule is available to ‘Pro’ accounts only. Can the icon for a public schedule be changed?Yes, a user can select a different icon for a public schedule. The icon chosen will apply to the schedule for that user only. Can a customized background picture be added and assigned to a schedule?This feature is not available in the current version of Skedet. Consideration will be given to add this capability to future releases of Skedet. What is shown under Today’s Events?For all public schedules, the events shown under Today’s Events are those events with a date equal to the current date. On the Home page, all events from public schedules only are shown. Under My Schedules, only those events from a user’s schedules, both public and private, with a date equal to the current date are shown under Today’s Events. Is it possible to add new categories for schedules?The current version of Skedet does not provide for customizing the categories available for a schedule . The capability will be considered for inclusion in future releases of Skedet. Is the iPhone client available without using the web client?The web client, www.skedet.com, is used to add and maintain schedules. The iPhone client is available to view schedules and add comments to an existing schedule. New schedules cannot be created from the iPhone client. What if I do not see a recently added schedule on my iPhone client?If a new or updated schedule is not available on the iPhone client, then select the ‘Sync’ option under My Schedules, on the iPhone, to refresh the schedules from the web. What is the difference between Top Rated and Most Popular events?Top Rated events are the events that have the highest user ratings. Most Popular events are based on the number of times that a schedule has been added to accounts. Those schedules added with the highest frequency are reported in this category. What action should be taken if the message, ‘ Your Account Has Been Locked’ is received when logging on to Skedet?Contact Skedet support for assistance to resolve the problem. What payment options are available for a ‘Pro’ account?Skedet supports payment via Pay Pal or a major credit card. Will I automatically be charged annually for my ‘Pro’ account?On the annual anniversary for your account, you will be charged the annual fee for renewal. The payment method specified for the account will be used. |
